Separation anxiety is one of the most challenging issues as it impacts your dog, yourself, and your family.
When your dog is in this state he feels unsafe, scared, and unsure.
Behaviors that your dog is displaying with Separation Anxiety might include (but are not limited to):
Overcoming his or her fear of being left alone might seem unobtainable/unachievable.
It isn’t – but you do need time for your dog to learn to be happy and safe.
Separation anxiety in dogs is a behavioral condition in which your dog experiences significant distress and anxiety when separated from you or their significant people.
Let me help give you your freedom back by teaching your dog to be happy at home alone:
Separation Anxiety is one of the most challenging issues as it impacts your dog, yourself, and your family.
Hi, I’m Lisa
I am no stranger to dogs with anxiety disorders. I’ve have challenging dogs of my own and fell in love with the process of helping dogs reduce their “big feelings”.
After researching best training methods, studying all the theory around undesirable behaviours in dogs, I knew I wanted to help both ends of the leash to feel confident and have the tools to navigate the world.
I received my Professional Dog Trainer certification through Susan McMullen at Canine Academy, worked at Companion Avenue in Toronto, and am now training dogs full-time.
Digging deeper into fear-based behaviours, I now successfully help families that have dogs with Separation Anxiety.
From emotional distress, complexity, impact on your daily life, cost, and time required to train, our method to help your dog feel safe and happy when home alone is to expose your dog to alone time in very tiny increments while ensuring he remains anxiety-free.
The truth is, most dog owners notice little change from these methods and it might make your dog’s anxiety worse.
There is only one way to teach your dog to feel safe when home alone – let me help you.
If you want your dog to be happy alone, that’s awesome and I can’t wait to hear from you!
Step 1
Book your 60-minute virtual consultation and assessment. Your initial consult will be $70.
*Should you select a pkg, this fee will be deducted from your plan.
Step 2
Book our 8-week package and let’s start your dog’s journey to feeling happy, home alone.
Step 3
Feel confident we are helping your pup reduce his/her fear when they are home alone.
To maximize separation anxiety training for dogs, we recommend training 4-5 times per week which lasts no more than 30 minutes a day when you start.
I will send you daily plans, review your videos and provide my feedback via Loom (A screen recording app for voice overs explaining your next day’s training plan).
You will never need to guess what you and your dog need to do next.
I will lend an empathic ear, support you along the way, provide encouragement, and have weekly check-in calls, a live session, and text support throughout your program.
This package includes customized training plans (4 to 5 per week), daily video reviews, and text support.
Your dog is going to absolutely love you for it!
Because separation anxiety dog training is more involved than most other forms of dog training, I need you to answer a few detailed questions.
Thanks in advance for taking the time and I’ll be sure to get back to you within 24 hours!
